Ammunition in this caliber is extremely rare; so rare, in fact, that it is not produced in any of the Mazes' factories at all, and appears to be of artisanal construction, with gold-plated brass cases, and special, small-caliber, gold-plated explosive bullets which are designed to detonate a short while after impact, so that the bullet has enough time to penetrate some distance into the intended target, causing the bullet to explode inside the target rather that on it. Although there is no part of the projectile that is specifically designed to defeat armor, the effect is so impressive and devastating that it is often given the moniker of '''armor piercing explosive''' (or AP/explosive).
