.410 bore is a type of ammunition for firearms. It is classified as a (S)hotgun caliber.

.410 bore is pronounced four-ten bore.

.410 bore is the smallest of the shotgun shell sizes available in the Mazes. Although long (3 inch/76mm), their restrictive diameter only allows for a limited quantity of powder and projectiles. On the other hand, these shells are small, lightweight, low-recoiling, and of sufficiently small diameter to fit in certain handguns (certain .45 Colt and .454 Casull firearms). For all of these reasons, .410 bore is often considered the entry-level of shotgun calibers in the Mazes, selected by the younger and the less-experienced.

Some projectile types are not available in .410 bore (namely, FRAG-12 and coin shot) as they simply would not fit.

This caliber may also simply be called .410. On occasion, it may be colloquially referred to as .410 gauge, however that's a technically incorrect designation.

Damage tables

Buckshot

The table below assumes Plated buckshot (P-Buck). Pain and Limb Damage listed are per projectile; multiply by the amount of projectiles that hit.

Damage type Projectiles LDV Pain (C1) Pain (C2) Pain (A1) Pain (A2) Pain (A3) Pain (A4) Pain (A5)
Bullet 5 +0 15% 13% 12% 9% 7% 4% 1%
  • Dragon's buckshot (D-Buck) uses 3 pellets per shell instead of 5 due to the incendiary charge. See Ammunition types for damage.

Slug

The table below assumes Full metal jacketed slug (F-Slug).

Damage type LDV Pain (C1) Pain (C2) Pain (A1) Pain (A2) Pain (A3) Pain (A4) Pain (A5)
Bullet +3 52% 47% 42% 34% 26% 13% 4%

Exotic projectiles

Flechette

Shooting this ammunition type applies a FT -1 effect.

Pain and Limb Damage listed are per projectile; multiply by the amount of projectiles that hit.

Damage type Projectiles LDV Pain (C1) Pain (C2) Pain (A1) Pain (A2) Pain (A3) Pain (A4) Pain (A5)
Bullet 10 +1 12% 11% 14% 12% 9% 5% 2%
  • Flechette ammunition is more efficient against armored ACs than against unarmored ACs. To reflect this, damage against armored ACs is bolded.
