Charging (also called Charge) is an ability and a combat technique.
Requirements
To be able to perform this combat technique, your character must be equipped with any one of the following:
- A Staff/Pole weapon that can deal Piercing-type damage
- A firearm equipped with a bayonet
Use
If an appropriate weapon is equipped, a character has the option to perform a charge. If the equipped weapon is a firearm with bayonet, it is specifically referred to as a bayonet charge. Though they have different names, they work in the exact same way.
Performing a charge/bayonet charge will reduce the maximum attacks per turn to 1, but offer a 1.5x Pain and Limb damage bonus.
