As a user of the BPR, 3D is very comfortable with all manners of pump-action firearms, including shotguns. They simply prefer the rifle, but can and will use a shotgun if given one by a client or if they find one they like in the UA. That said, they don't like long-term contracts, and will not work for a client for more than 3 days- they specialize in short jobs.
 
For reasons unknown, 3D and Tank don't get along. MAIM advises clients not to hire both for the same job, though their differing skillsets is normally enough to keep them out of the same contract.

In spite of what one may think about her based on her history and callsign, Basher is not a ruthless or violent individual. While she is straightforward and won't shy away from violence, she also does not seek it out, and will generally prefer other solutions to problems. That said, she has named her gohei 'Brains' in honor of the incident that ended her employment with Heaven, Ltd., and it even still has the red stains on the paper tassels from that incident.
 
Of note, Basher has retained the mental conditioning that shrine maidens normally receive, and it has led to her having complicated feelings about Heaven, Ltd. She feels as though she's been betrayed, cut off from the rest of the whole that is the company without reason - normally, a shrine maiden whose employment is terminated is simply killed or otherwise disposed of, but for reasons unknown to her, Basher was spared and simply ejected from the company. She's still a devout believer in the Angelic Virtues, though she no longer attacks Demonics on sight.

In a word, Stitches is motherly. Caring, patient, and inexorably driven to defend those who matter to her, she often treats the other mercenaries in MAIM with the same affection she shows her own children. As a result of this, and her own personal aversion to being called Stitches, many other members of MAIM refer to her as Okaachan - literally, Mom. Like any mother, she often worries for them, and can tend to be nagging and protective of those she's formed an attachment with. Of particular note is her close friendship with Prancer, who often accompanies Stiches during her trips into the UA to collect mushrooms.
She also has a fascination with old and rare firearms, and is known to collect them if she comes across them in the UA. Of particular interest to her are exceptionally rare automatic revolvers, of which none are available by retail in the Mazes today. Employers can expect her to be easily distracted by this fascination, though she knows better than to let it effect her contract.

She's remained quiet on how she feels about the makaryuudo, with some suspecting she regrets the choices she made leading up to her ejection from the Masatomo makari-dan. She still carries the daisho, and regularly practices with her swords in the traditional fashions makaryuudo employ. Fireball is also known to play the shakuhachi in her spare time. Conversely, her hard-partying habits and lack of remorse for violence suggests she was never a good fit for the makaryuudo, and she's never admitted to regretting how her life turned out.
 
Fireball is known to have a strong dislike of Shrapnel, though the reasons for this vary based on who is asked. She maintains that it's because he's a "racist pig," referring to his past loyalties to the Maze Police. He insists that it's because she's a "raider-adjacent junkie," a reference to both her well-known drug addictions and her time with the makaryuudo. Regardless, the two refuse to work together for any reason.

== Personality ==
Starburst is a chipper, upbeat person with a sharp wit and more than her fair share of sarcasm. Often remembered for her snarky, irreverent quips, she is nonetheless a friendly person who gets along well with most people she meets. As a rule, she doesn't get along well with members of the [[Maze Police]], always referring to them as "pigs" and taking every chance she gets to take them down a notch or otherwise humiliate them. This extends to fellow merc Shrapnel, who Starburst will refuse to work with outside of the most dire or most well-paying situations.
She does tend to stand out in a crowd due to the unusual blonde streak in her hair that runs down her bangs. She's not sure where it comes from, but doesn't bother using dyes to make it less conspicuous. Starburst is known to make jokes regarding her loss of one eyeseye, often referring to herself as "a cyclops." That said, she does acknowledge that she has to build her kit around this fact, it's why she handloads her own match-grade ammunition that otherwise wouldn't be available.
